CONNECTORS MANUFACTURING
The connectors are designed for use both in offshore and onshore applications, where rig costs and environmental conditions dictate a need for fast connector make-up combined with superior performance. UDT connectors have a proven performance in drilling, production and structural applications, for more than the last 3 decades.
UDT range of connectors are suitable for a wide array of applications such as drilling, driving (piling), drill & drive, jetting, offshore jack-up, offshore subsea, slot recovery, drilling with casing and more.

FIELD SERVICES
UDT provides a full turnkey installation service, which includes provision of service tools, service personnel to supervise the make-up of the connectors and running the pipe string, thread inspection and field repair & maintenance of all connectors.

QUALITY MANUFACTURING
UDT connectors are manufactured to the highest industry standards to assure trouble-free installation and service to our customers. Following are highlights of our manufacturing quality programme.
- The properties of our high strength multi-start connectors will be equal or more than that of the pipe grade selected by the client.
- The Connectors are machined on state of art numerically controlled horizontal and vertical lathes. Each connector is inspected for dimensional accuracy and functionality.
- We have the capability to machine components up to 42 inches in diameter while maintaining tight tolerances.
- Critical dimensions of all connectors are verified by high precision gauges and measuring instrument like MRP gauges, 3D Scanner and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
- Each component receives a unique serial number and is traceable from raw material to finished goods.
- An alignment check is conducted prior to final welding of conductor on to pipe during welding onto pipe, which ensures that the alignment of the pin to the axis of the box is within 0.050 degrees.
- All connectors are phosphate coated to prevent corrosion and galling.
- The Connector designs and capabilities are supported by finite element analysis (FEA) conducted using both two and three dimensional techniques.

GAS LIFT EQUIPMENTS
UDT gas lift equipment are used for effective gas lift operations in straight and deviated wells.
Our gas lift solutions optimize production efficiency and extend well life. Designed for reliability and easy maintenance, these systems are suitable for both onshore and offshore applications.
UDT wireline retrievable injection pressure operated gas lift valves
UDT wireline retrievable injection pressure operated gas lift valves uses nitrogen charged, multiply monel bellows to provide the force necessary to maintain the valve normally in closed position. These gas lift valves are installed in side pocket mandrels for injection of gas into the tubing string. These valves are manufactured in variety of port sizes to suit a wide range of gas injection volume and flow rates. All the gas lift valves features floating valve seat, which facilitates seat change outs to make valve repair easier and more economical.

OPERATIONS
Injection gas enters the valve and acts on the effective bellow area. As the injection gas pressure overcomes the precharged pressure, the bellow compresses and lifts the stem tip off the seat. Injection gas then flows through the seat, past the reverse flow check valve, and into the production tubing. These valves are fitted with reverse flow check valves at the bottom to prevent production fluid backflow. The reverse flow check valves have elastomeric primary seal and metal to metal secondary seal to prevent tubing to casing communication. Reverse flow check valves are rated to 5000 psi differential pressure.
SPECIAL FEATURES
- Field proven design.
- Guided valve stem for precise alignment with the seat during operation.
- Reverse flow check valve fitted at the bottom to prevent backflow from tubing to casing.
- Mechanical stops limit bellows travel in both directions. This provides bellows protection and assures long life by keeping bellows travel within design limits.
- Tungsten carbide ball and seat provides long wear against abrasive and corrosive fluids.
- Replaceable floating seat.
- Large dome volume gives smooth stable valve operation that prevents stem and seat cutting.
- Manufactured from a variety of premium grade materials to provide corrosion and erosion resistance for the intended application. Stainless steel or Monel options are typically utilized for the outer and main body components.
- These valves can be charged with nitrogen gas from 400-1800 psi.
- Inspection and testing as per the stringent requirements of API 19G2 Specifications.

WIRELINE WINCHES
UDT wireline winch units are used in both offshore and onshore areas and can be used for production and reservoir operations.
Wireline technology involves the use of a cable system to lower tools into a wellbore for various purposes, including data collection, well logging, and intervention. The cable not only supports the tools but also transmits data and power between the surface and the downhole environment.
UDT SLIM SPLIT
UDT make Skid mounted one or two piece wireline unit comprising power pack module with 73-160 hp diesel engine and winch unit. This is compact, versatile, self-contained wireline winch unit may be supplied in single or dual drum configuration.

DOWN HOLE TOOLS
UDT downhole tools are used in a variety of formations to perform reaming operations during drilling.
Downhole tools refer to specialized instruments used in drilling operations, which require careful management by operators to ensure their proper functioning, including tasks like pressure testing and setting packers.
UDT INTEGRAL BLADE STABILIZERS
Integral blade stabilizer (IBS) is a one piece rotating stabilizer which can be placed near bit or up in the drill string. Integral blade stabilizers are cut out of a single piece of fully heat treated standard steel quenched and tempered full length. AISI 4145 H Modified is used as a standard steel for manufacturing of stabilizers is an alloy of chromium & molybdenum grade. It mechanically stabilizes the bottom hole assembly (BHA) in the borehole in order to avoid unintentional sidetracking, vibrations, and ensure the quality of the hole being drilled. Stabilizers reduces drill pipe whirl (eccentric rotation about a point other than geometric center), and wellbore tortuosity (unwanted deviation from the planned well trajectory); furthermore, the stabilizer maintains drilling trajectory whether drilling straight, horizontal, or directional wells.
Stabilizers are provided with 250 to 360 degrees wrap angle (hole wall contact). Wrap angle can be tailored to customer requirements. Rotary shouldered connections of the stabilizers are threaded as per the requirements of API 7-1 specification and thread gauging & thread inspections are conducted as per requirements specified in API 7-2 specification. Based on customer requirements the end connections can be provided with Pin stress relief grooves, Box bore back features and cold rolled thread roots.

SPECIAL FEATURES
- Usually 2 to 3 stabilizers are fitted into the bottom hole assemble, including one just above the drill bit (near-bit stabilizer) and one or two among the drill collars. (string stabilizers)
- The blades milled directly into the steel forgings are an integral part of the tool body, eliminating the risk of leaving components or pieces in the hole.
- Deep spiral machining is performed to allow maximum mud circulation. Integral blade stabilizers are provided with 3 or 4 number of blades.
- The neck regions of stabilizer have tensile properties and impact energy requirements equal to those of drill collars of the same size as specified in API 7-1 specification.
- The crown surface and the leading edge of the stabilizer are provided with protection against abrasion through hard facing. HF-2000, HF-3000, HF-4000 & HF-5000 types of hard facing can be provided based on customer requirements.
- A gall-resistant treatment of manganese phosphate is applied to the threads and sealing shoulders of both the upper and lower connections.
- Dimensions of the Integral blade stabilizers can be tailored to customer requirements as well as per API 7-1 specification requirements.
